Description
The tour begins at 08:30 with departure for Linderhof Palace. Usually, you will visit the palace exterior, noted for its lavish Rococo interiors and French-inspired gardens. Next, the tour continues to Oberammergau, a Bavarian village known for its paintings on house facades, woodcarving heritage, and the historic Passion Play performed every ten years since 1634.
After lunch near Neuschwanstein Castle, you will walk uphill to visit the castle. Neuschwanstein Castle, located in the southern Bavarian Alps, is a 19th-century Romanesque Revival castle built by King Ludwig II that inspired the Disney Sleeping Beauty design. The castle tour is self-guided with an audio guide, as the guide does not enter the castle.
The itinerary sequence may be adjusted by the guide depending on scheduling and weather conditions. The tour returns to Munich after the castle visit, where it concludes.
