Description
Your native English-speaking driver-guide will pick you up from your Munich hotel at 8:00 AM. The first stop is Neuschwanstein Castle, where you skip the ticket line and walk to Mary’s Bridge, a key viewpoint for photos.
If you prefer a less strenuous ascent, you can take the bus to Mary’s Bridge. After a roughly one-hour tour inside the castle, your guide will accompany you back to the vehicle.
Next, you will travel to Austria for lunch in Reutte at a local restaurant. After lunch, explore Linderhof Palace, including its gardens and opulent interiors. The recently renovated Venus Grotto is also open for visitors.
The final stop is Oberammergau, known for wood carvings and a wide array of Christmas-themed goods. Your guide will assist you in finding souvenirs. The itinerary can include a ride on the Alpine Coaster in Oberammergau, with the option to adjust time spent in the village or skip Ettal Monastery based on your preference.
The tour returns to Munich and your hotel by approximately 6:30 PM.
